What a great inspiring movie. Some ppl mite think this movie is boring n the plot kinda is, but despite the plot being pretty boring it is the story behind the story that makes this film eye-opening n enlightening.

I never knew this story. Oftentimes, it is the untold backstory that is most unbelievable. Not only was it the artful direction and acting that made it great, but it also was historically accurate n interesting.

It was fun to see little tidbits of history going on in the background of the film (like the abdication of the throne, chamberlain resigning, and so forth). What a contrast to see hitlers amazing speech style on tv (despite him being a monster) n seeing the king lack of confidence despite being a seemingly good person (some ppl r just born with it).

Also what a difference btw the dad screaming at him and his therapist coaching him is like black n white. It's interesting to me too bc I want to be a speech therapist someday n it's true that somex experience and passion trumps a degree.

Not sure if stuttering doesn't have some sort of genetic link as well or neuroligical cause, but this film has a strong nature theory.The camera shots were really great n made u feel like u were the king.

Whats ironic is u think a king would have life so ez but in his case it's the hardest job. The screenplay was great as well. If it wasn't for his amazing n calm wife and his friend he couldn't have done it.

I have also heard that turning a leftie to a righty can cause Probs like his. Of course one of his first speeches had so much pressure on it n when he was talking at the end he was not only talking about the country but himself coming into his own.
