Brilliant!!! I am "in love" with Colin Firth again!!! ;-).
A truly heartfelt and mesmerizing movie that has you rooting for the main characters ALL the way through it. Helena Bonham Carter is fabulous [how lovely to see her in a "normal" role for once] and I love Geoffrey Rush' quiet, yet determined way. For me, the only jar was Timothy Spall at Winston Churchill. He will always be "Wormtail" to me and it was hard for me to take him seriously.
