Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Bradley W — 31 Dec 2013
The King's Speech is a brilliantly directed drama based on the of the life of King George VI. It tells the story of his becoming king and how he had to learn to control his stammer from Lionel Logue, a speech and language therapist and eventual friend.
The acting is flawless with Colin Firth delivering a incredinle powerhouse performance, with Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter giving brilliant performances as well. Its just a beautiful tale about a great man, who with the help of a friend gave us one of the important speeches in history.
I highly recommend this film.
