Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Brandon W — 25 Nov 2014
People has been talking about how much this movie is a masterpiece, and how much Colin Firth gave an amazing performance. That was the first time I ever heard of Colin Firth and never saw his movies, then I was starting to see why from his other films.
When I first watched The King's Speech, I fell asleep and didn't get the chance to watch it again. Now I got the time to watch it again, and I can see why people loved this. One of the reason is because of Colin Firth, this is his best performance and does master the stammer well.
The movie is very interesting, and I honestly didn't find it predictable. The supporting cast is great in it, it's well shot, and it's well written. It is one of those films that some viewers might get bored, but it is an amazing historical movie that is going to be remembered for a while.
