Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Thief 1 — 26 Dec 2012
I have to say that I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. Really well acted and written. Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush were both excellent. Rush, particularly, had a more effortless performance, so fluid, so good.
And the film really breezed through, wish I wasn't expecting it too. I liked how it successfully conveyed the frustration that someone would feel by dealing with something that could be seen as "trivial", like speaking, or speaking in public.
But anyway, I really loved it.
