Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Canes D — 10 Apr 2015
A pretty accurate portrayal of King George VI with the help of Lionel Logue to overcome his speech impediment, as he addresses his nation who is on the brink of war to ensure that Britain will remain strong.
One of the most influential moments of British history. This film is great with drama, love as you really feel bad for Bertie (King George VI) in hopes he can overcome his speech impediment. Great movie all around, maybe some historians will argue on how accurate the portrayal was, but its a flawless film as all the characters are like able in their own way.
Great film that helps shows that others out there who have the same speech impediment can overcome their adversity and give them a voice. Such an emotional movie.
