Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Guido S — 02 Jun 2013
This sweet movie does two things better than most movies like it. 1) It depicts an authentic and balanced adventure of adolescence such that it even made me want to return to that age (which I never do) and 2) it depicts male adolescent gender as complex and has a useful and true viewpoint of male's relationships to each other and to their fathers.
