Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Roy S — 24 Jun 2013
A wonderfully sweet coming-of-age film in which teenage boys run off to live in the woods. I don't think I would run away if Nick Offerman were my dad, because that guy is hilarious. But if I did I hope it would be with guys like these.
Not side-splittingly funny, but lots of grins and some laughs nevertheless. Perhaps the most unwarranted "R" rating ever given, I suppose due to some drinking and smoking (tobacco!) on the part of the boys,.
