Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Richard B — 25 Oct 2013

I have always liked coming of age films and this one is really good and really funny. The three kids are great and Biaggo is flat out hilarious. The parents are also very funny and add a lot to the film.

There are also some pretty funny appearances from some semi-famous actors/actresses that are funny too. The film has a lot of heart and soul and I really connected with the characters. The film does take a few twists towards the end and I felt that the best part of the film was the first hour and 15 minutes.

Overall I had a feeling this film would be solid, but it ended up being even better than I had expected.
