Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Peter B — 28 Dec 2014
Nick Offerman's scenes are hilarious (maybe I should've given Parks & Recreation more of a chance) but too few. The focus of the movie is three boys, they have a few solid moments but most of their scenes feel inauthentic.
The movie is beautifully shot, but too manufactured to evoke any real emotion.
