Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Sasha Linn A — 04 Oct 2013

An interesting movie, to say the least. Personally, I'm a big fan of the soft color scheme they used, but nobody really cares about that. The casting was interesting; it definitely wasn't for looks, and even the acting styles were off the beaten track.

I don't see it getting very popular in this decade, but it feels like it will become a classic in a John Hughes way. The audience is definitely high schoolers, it's too old for anything younger and not very tangible for those above it.
