Review of The Kings of Summer (2013) by Alex A — 30 Oct 2013

I couldn't ask for a genre of film more up my alley. Great coming-of-age movies are so rare to find these days and The Kings of Summer manages to pull it off so nicely. It's got the perfect blend of carefree adventure, teenage drama and immature humor.

It boasts an incredible cast of newcomer teens who do such a great job of pulling you not only in on their adventure into the woods, but also into the complexities of their adolescent emotions. I highly recommend this indie gem.
