Film flip flops from a serious war drama to over the top ridiculous joke action sequences. The two opposing styles don't really mesh at all well. It is like this was made by two different people and then glued bizarrely together.

Not sure this is the flim to tackle ant-war and colonialism muh bad themes. Lets face it the British have been on both sides of the colonialism coin the invaders and the invaded. Cut out the silly action sequences this could of been an interesting else-world tale.

I really liked the cinematography, best part of the film next to the serious war drama stuff.
