Review of The King's Man (2021) by Rlindau — 29 Dec 2021
For me, the film fell flat. There were indeed a number of exciting (and ridiculous, but that's OK) action sequences, but it seemed to meander aimlessly between the exciting parts. A couple key characters (a villain, and the person I thought we were grooming as the hero) were killed off by about the midpoint of the movie.
(That's OK when Hitchcock does it, but not this director...). I also was expecting more tongue-in-cheek based on the first two Kingsman movies, which I enjoyed more than this one. Overall: Ho hum.
