Review of The Kingdom (2014) by Richard C — 23 Aug 2009
In trying to develop a something intelligent to say about the "situation" in Saudi, Kingdom falls flat, face first in the Arab sand. After a harrowing start your left with a talky trying to make sense and humanize the terror and the two sides.
The sad thing is I couldn't care, as the film drags through the subsequent story before a bullet and rpg dance of a finally. Nice try, but I can get better else where. All senses firmly locked onto the release of The Hurt Locker.
