Review of The Kingdom (2007) by Ryan L — 22 Jun 2009
Talk about an explosive film. It's not subtle or nuanced, but it takes guts to try to portray the present situation of terrorism in the Middle East. Director Peter Berg knows how to film some amazing action sequences, and everyone seems to be at the top of their game--with the exception of a somewhat out of place Jennifer Garner who doesn't do a whole lot until the last few minutes.
If you can get the chance, try to watch this one on a big screen; it will be worth it.
