Review of The Kingdom (2007) by Cole M — 19 May 2012

A really brilliant movie. Good script and acting. I liked how this was not one of those typical American-biased-point-of-view war films but it was pretty empathetic to the Saudi-Arabians. The only problem here is the directing.

The hand held style was perfect for action sequences but when it got to the scenes were people were talking and the camera was shaking like hell it just got annoying. Aerial shots were very badly filmed - poor quality.

Otherwise this was a solid action flick.
