Review of The Kingdom (2007) by Samantha J — 20 Jul 2009

My expectations weren't super high for this movie, but once I saw how incredible of a cast had been assembled, I changed my opinion. The movie is a typical storyline of solving a crime using clues and has the usual asshole who keeps getting in the way but eventually becomes a terrific ally.

Once you get past the Hollywood cliches, you'll find an excellently edited movie that throws in some great one liners by Bateman and delivers one of the best rescue sequences I've ever seen. It can be hard to follow how the characters are connecting the dots at times, but overall this is a movie I highly recommend.
