Review of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007) by Rajneel S — 17 Mar 2009
Rich, well-constructed, beautifully edited, engaging and utterly oddball documentary that - in a strange notion of criticism - is so well put together that you'd swear it was a mockumentary. In fact, what kills this highly entertaining underdog story filled with colorful and memorable characters is that, by the filmmakers own admission, the facts were distorted somewhat to create heroes, villains and controversies.
Irrespective, this is a wonderfully human story filled with wit, freaks and lots of belly laughs. Highly recommended!
