Review of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007) by Ray H — 14 Dec 2010

Billy Mitchell is a pussy. At least now everyone knows it. Sending a tape of himself to Funspot and getting that little goober to gather everyone around to watch it right after Steve Wiebe beat his high-score is a fucking dick move.

Especially since he was bitching about Steve's tape, and all that talk of it not meaning anything unless it's in public. I felt really bad for Steve when he was crying after that. Fuck, I would too! The poor guy's got it hard enough as it is.

I'm surprised he could even get that record with only being able to play at night and in a dingy garage. His wife clearly doesn't approve of his lust for Donkey Kong. I'm glad he finally got the World Record though, he deserved it.

And the funniest thing in this movie had to be at the end when Billy Mitchell's buddy was talking to him in the restaurant about how great Steve Wiebe is, and that look on Billy's face like he wanted to rip out his buddy's throat and eat it.

AMAZING. I am totally going to buy an arcade machine and try to win me a Guinness!
