Review of The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters (2007) by Andrew M — 01 Sep 2011
The King Of Kong is a compelling documentary about the strive for greatness, albeit by being awarded the world's record score in an early Nintendo video game. Seth Gordon's film gives us insight into the lives of people we used to call "nerds" in school, as they compete for the highest score in Donkey Kong, with plenty of laughs throughout.
Funny, interesting and at times poignant.
