Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Nick H — 29 Jan 2008
Robert DeNiro gives a good underrated performance as Rupert Pupkin, a comedian obsessed with his chance at stardom and worshipping of his idol, played by Jerry Lewis. This movie had good performances, but overall not one of Scorsese's best.
