Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Raül J — 24 May 2008
Excellent black comedy, very well resolved and with a strange and really attractive tone that includes a funny and absurd moments, sadness and compassion (for De Niro's character mainly) and even interesting exploration about fame, the obsession with celebrities, media.
...Fantastic De Niro, and surprisingly convincing (to me) Jerry Lewis. Great Scorsese. Don't miss it.
