Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Jay M — 19 Jun 2009
What a great film. Jerry Lewis plays the role so well. A colder side to comedy. Robert De Niro is refreshing playing a pathetic wanna be comedian. Great chemistry, and fun to watch. The characters are believable.
I wouldn't want to be a celebrity and be stalked by these kind of people. Martin Scorsese is in his usual fine directing form.
