Review of The King of Comedy (1982) by Topher H — 01 Feb 2012
Superb film, De Niro and Bernhard are incredible in their obssessed roles and Jerry Lewis brilliant as Jerry. Surreal, dramatic and funny - a risk of a film by Scorsese especially after the seriousness of Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.
One of his most underated and unjustly so. A superb film.
