Review of The King and I (1956) by Christopher L — 08 Oct 2007
Rogers and Hammerstein just can't get anything right can they. This is another cheesey musical with ultra happy music, with an extra twist...a sad ending. Yul Brynner's performance as the King of Siam is the only reason to see this film.
