Review of The King and I (1956) by Sarah T — 07 Dec 2007
Any "King and I" movie other than this one is doo-doo. Yul Brynner is priceless, and their dance scene is fraught with more sexual tension than any of the explicit scenes we see in movies today. Funny, moving, great music.
