Review of The King and I (1956) by Vicki — 21 Sep 2008
Some of the numbers seem to run long, but you can not deny the sheer brilliance of Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr. They are both shining lights. I love Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner owned his role so well, making the King of Siam so funny.
"Shall we Dance" is a classic that will take your breath away with the sexual chemistry. A classic musical.
