Review of The Killing Room (2009) by Karen F — 04 May 2010
I thought this was a really good film, an interesting idea, well-acted, and although there was violence, it wasn't particularly gory - couldn't really see the Saw or Cube comparisons, as this actually had some sort of meaning rather than being random.
I jumped quite a few times, but the suspense was in figuring out what was going on as much as in the action. Even though I realised the purpose, I didn't realise why, and so was hooked right through to the end.
Far better than I was expecting.
