Review of The Killing Room (2009) by James H — 07 Jul 2009
Peter Stormare is doing pretty good with two movies coming out the same week. I guess I would be a little more impressed if it weren't for the fact that it is a lot like saw. The similarities are blatantly obvious, but there are some major differences that allow this movie to stand on it's own.
I'm not a huge fan on the flash backs and the video of what had happened. I think it would have been kewl if they edited the flashbacks to be degrated like the video quality of the security footage.
If you don't like blood at least you would be able to watch most of the movie before you got sickened. It is a pretty interesting twist as to why they have the killing room, but it's also disturbing.
Just gotta say these people distrub me. Maybe that's why I don't like shrinks, they have no souls. Predictable and annoying ending with a view at what could be a sequel. At least they did answer her question I guess.
