Review of The Killing of Sister George (1968) by Victoria F — 12 Dec 2009
I was about 14 when I first saw this film and it scared the shit out of me. I knew I was gay, and watching this film didn't make it any easier I have to tell you. But, I think everyone should watch this film for a couple of reasons.
Firstly it's in the 60's and everyone's cool, secondly it shows Susanna York flouncing around her flat in a fluffy, pink slip...Beryl Reid is superb too. What more could you ask for?! Awesome f**king film and it's one of my favourites! Favourite line is - "Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me!" You'll see.
