Just ok but director Yorgos Lanthimos really delves deep into the dark, twisted mind of a psychotic youth.

This kid is hellbent on making this family suffer after losing someone close to him.

Really good acting from Nicole Kidman and Collin Farrell and a star-turning performance by Barry Keoghan as Martin.

He's very much a bit mentally unsound but is quite articulate with every word he speaks.

Things start to look weary as the children of the family start waning in health and the father has to make a decision about what to do.

Being a decorated surgeon means making the tough calls and one mistake could cost him everything.

The mood of this is very disturbing with Martin's presence as well as very distressing.

A dour experience but a psychotically, deranged one.

Just fair nothing high art.
