Review of The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) by Stephen R — 10 Nov 2017
Pointless and Pretentious garbage... How this film has 76% certified fresh I will never know.
I felt like I was watching the worst Stanley Kubrick knock off of all time.
The only thing vaguely interesting here are the breif glipses of Nicole Kidman's naked body and even that gets old fast.
Barry Keoghan keeps you interested for a while untill you realise that the plot is not even going anywhere.
Badly written, overly simplified and uninteresting... This style of film has been done before and done a hundred times better.
The ending and all outcome is both predictable and foretold within the film itself, not to mention the dialogue is lazy and clichéd.
The genre is labelled as a drama but in all honesty if think it is a comedy because this film was an absolute joke.
Pointless and Pretentious.
