Review of The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) by Kateandsteve N — 31 Jan 2018
Take several good actors (Kidman, Farrell, et al), put them on a set and tell them, "Colin, you are a tent peg. Nicole, you are a clothes pin. Now act." That about sums up this mess of a movie.
Directors, however artistic they think they're being, need to deliver something that is watchable. This fails miserably in that regard. Next, just hand us an undeveloped roll of film. That would be at least as entertaining.
