Stripped to the bone, the premise is simple and the movie plays out in linear fashion. It's body is entirely filled to the brim with dread. Without as many twists and shifts as The Lobster, Sacred Deer is essentially all you can eat horror - lightyears different from anything else but not enough risks beyond that.
