My wife and I found the movie lifeless and pointless. At the end of the movie we looked at each other and said "What was that about?" The actors seemed to be in a stupor most of the time much like Kidman's sex life.
We are clearly in the minority when it comes to this director/screen writer but I found this movie even more pointless than the much vaunted The Lobster which I also though was a waste of film.
