Woah.
The killing of a sacred dear isn't a fun day out at the cinema. It's probably the most audacious and brave film of the year.
Off- beat, unique and extremely challenging, the film is at time both darkly funny but difficult to watch.
The acting is incredible across the board and Colin Farrell may well have found his niche after years of playing the handsome hero which never really gave him much to do.
The camerawork and sound is incredible throughout definitely drawing some Hitchcock esq moments of shear dread.
I'll probably never watch it again but like Lanthimos' earlier effort 'Dogtooth' its truly one I won't forget.
Riveting stuff.
