Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Anthony H — 19 Aug 2008
It is hard to believe that Roland Joffe made such distinguished films after some of his recent outings. "The Killing Fields" is a dark but lovely film with great performances from Waterston, Malkovich, and especially the late Haing S.
Ngor, whose Oscar-winning performance may be the best debut performance ever. It wasn't amazing but it was a good effort.
