Haing S. Ngor simply delivers one of the most heart felt, intense supporting roles I've ever seen. What a lot of people don't now is that he basically lived his characters story in his real life.
It's sad how his life ended. This is one of the most underrated movies of the 80's, BRILLIANTLY shot.
