Review of The Killing (1956) by Hunter L — 24 Jan 2009
Stanley Kubrick's satisfying foray into pulpy film noir is incredibly enjoyable to watch, with its revolutionary jumps through the non-linear timeframe. But it unfortunately spends too much time providing introductions to all the characters in the opening few scenes, which could create a lull for some viewers.
