Review of The Killing (1956) by Colin N — 22 Dec 2007
Next to "Paths of Glory" and "A Clockwork Orange" I think that this is another Kubrick classic that I could watch multiple times and never get tired of. A classic film-noir. I've always been found of Sterling Hayden's fine tough guy work, particularly in 'Dr.
Strangelove' but this is my favorite. Stanley Kubrick was revolutionary and although this isn't is his most memorable piece, this is my favorite.
