Electrifying and enjoyable heist film... For the most part. This is the worst Kubrick film I've seen, which is saying a lot because it's still a solid-as-hell and overall excellent film throughout.

There's not a whole lot to say about it. It's just a very good heist film. In particular, the cinematography stood out for me. There are some long takes that are wonderful to behold. My only gripes stem from the abrupt ending, some muddled pacing in the beginning, and some weird structural choices during the brilliant heist scene.

Otherwise, this short but sweet film is completely worth your time. It shows the makings of who would become one of the greatest and most influential filmmaker of our time.
