Review of The Killing (1956) by Phillip K — 04 Dec 2008
I really enjoyed this early Kubrick. A great heist movie, the non-linear plot and twisting narrative really build the suspense right up to the final scene. Where most modern films would have stretched this out for another half hour this film ends in mid-stride.
Brilliant.
