Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece of a crime thriller, The Killing is one of the greatest films ever made and is a testament to the abilities of the young Kubrick. With top-notch performances from all around and an incredible, segmented story structure, The Killing does for robbery films what The Godfather does for mob movies.
..takes them to a new level and never lets up for a second. Fantastic, my highest recommendation.
