Stanley Kubrick made many outstanding films and The Killing is one of them. From the opening racetrack scene to the final money in the air scene, The Killing's script alone succeeded. Nevertheless, Kubrick's directing also adds to the extremely taut noir and the performances are all terrific, with Sterling Hayden in the lead giving a awesome portrayal.
The Killing is a must-see film for any film-noir lover!
