Review of The Killing (1956) by Colm M — 22 Feb 2012
Classic noir from Kubrick. Bit rough around the edges ( concerning his playing around with timelines) but a wonderful range of brilliantly portrayed characters and great dialogue typical of good movies from this era.
What a bunch of small time crims! Wasn't expecting the ending at all. Sterling Haydens expression at the end made up for his one dimensional acting throughout. A gem.
