Review of The Killing (1956) by Dan D — 28 Feb 2012
A snappy, smart script. It differs from Kubrick's later works in that there's nothing really technically interesting about the camera work (apart from a POV sequence during the robbery). Can't decide if I liked this or "The Asphalt Jungle" better - both great, entertaining flicks though.
