Review of The Killing (1956) by Nathan M — 14 Mar 2012
Dated, but this massively influential heist film definitely counts as one of Kubrick's early classics, albeit one of his smaller ones. Tightly executed and entertaining, the groundwork for films like Reservoir Dogs and other popular modern heist films is laid in its non-linear storyline, possibly in its original cinematic appearance.
