Review of The Killing (1956) by Adrian V — 18 Aug 2012
This gripping noir heist movie may not be quite as impressive as Kubrick's later masterpieces, but it's tightly constructed, flawlessly made, and thoroughly entertaining. The non-linear structure and the third-person narrator are unusual choices, but they work pretty well.
Definitely worth watching, not just for Kubrick completists!
