Review of The Killers (1946) by Jacqueline F — 29 Jun 2007
A moody little movie. Lancaster is great; Ava is beautiful and wily; and Riordan (O'Brien?) is great as the investigator. The opening is fraught with menace, and you wonder why Lancaster accepts his fate so easily.
As things are slowly revealed over the course of the movie, you understand how used and tortured he was.
